The companion does not replace the desktop app. Supported downloads are handed to WDM for confirmation and execution.

Install

  1. Download the WDM 2.0 Chromium ZIP and extract it.
  2. Open your browser’s extensions page: Chrome chrome://extensions, Edge edge://extensions, or Brave brave://extensions.
  3. Enable Developer mode.
  4. Choose Load unpacked and select the extracted WDM-Extension-Chromium-2.0 folder.
  5. Pin WDM if you want quick access to Video, Audio, Page/file and image controls.
